"Dog walker closed the door behind her, dog inside, no spare. Called Keeper at 7am — tech was at my Haile Plantation driveway in 22 minutes, had the Schlage picked in 4 minutes, dog ran out happy. $70 flat. Highly recommend."
Locked out of your house in Gainesville — what to do first
Don't call the fire department unless there's an emergency inside (pet without water, food on the stove, child alone). A residential lockout is a 20-30 minute mobile locksmith job, not a 911 call. If you're outside the door, grab a seat, call us, and we'll have you inside before the pizza you ordered arrives.
What not to do:
- Don't kick the door — kicked doors damage the jamb, strike plate and often the deadbolt. $400+ to repair. Our lockout: $75.
- Don't break a window — residential glass with grills, screens, or impact-rated panes costs $195–$900 to replace. Our lockout: $75.
- Don't try to pick it yourself — damaged pin stacks mean we have to replace the entire cylinder. That turns a $75 lockout into a $180 lockout + rekey.
- Don't climb through a window with a child inside — this is how injury-at-home insurance claims start.
